Ennosai
Ennosai Tetchu (1872 – 1924 ) 圓能斎.
Personal name: Tetchū Sōshitsu (1872-1924) 鉄中 宗室
During the Sino-Japanese War (1894-95) many men died. Oiemoto of the time, Ennosai, taought the remaining women and widows all the way uo to tea instructor licensing and introduced the Way of Tea in the curricula of secondary girls’ school throughour Japan. This process was started by his his fathers wife*.
