Honjimae

Honjimae is always done in a Koma and is sometimes done in a Yojohan and Hiroma depending on the temae. Honjimae means putting things back in their real/original position and this usually refers to placing the Chawan and Natsume back in front of the Mizusashi at the end of the Temae in Furo season.

Honjimae is often done for special dogu and guests in a Yojohan or larger room: (Chaire Kazari, Chawan Kazari, Chashaku Kazari Chasen Kazari, Nagaita, Daisu, Irekodate, Kinindate and Kinin Kiyotsugu) temaes for example.
