Jizai

In former times the monks on their pilgrimage did not have a chain, but a ‘ Jizai ‘ uses, in order to hang on their short stop the kettle up over the fire. The Jizai is a simple bamboo staff with a wooden stick in the center, which it is so designed that one could stop the height of the kettle over the fire at will. Actually the monks knew this name Jizai however from their daily Sutra. “KAN JI ZAI BOSATSU!”the Kanjizai Bosatsu is the Avalokiteshvara Boddhisattva, the Boddhisattva of the sympathy, which” lives purely from itself “. Straight ones therefore it can turn to the others in sympathy and it from their suffering proceeds.
