Omogashi – Gyuuhi

Rice cake skin (Microwaved oven version)

glutinous rice powder 100g
water 180 g
powder sugar 150-200g
potato starch spread sifted on the tray

put rice powder into a bowl, add water gradually and mix it
add sifted powder sugar and mix it well
heat in the microwave for 2 minutes
take it out and stir it a little bit
heat it in the oven for another 2 minutes, take it out and stir it.
heat in the oven again untill the dough rises (about 3 minutes)
pour the gouch on to a potato starch on tray
cover the dough with extra potato starch (also sifted)
divide it to 8-10 portion, and wrap it aroung Koshi-an or Tsubo-an.
