Yūgensai 又玄斎
When his older brother Saisaisai died without a heir Ittō became the 8th generation Iemoto of Urasenke at the age of 14. He worked closely with his oldest brother, Iemoto Joshinsai Tennen of Omotesenke. Together they created the shichiji-shiki, seven tea games. That have been passed down in both schools afterwards. He was incharge of Sôtan’s 100th memorial as his oldest brother had passed away and his son of eight was the head of Omotesenke.
